Kicking Off November with a Braai!

We kicked off November with another lovely residents’ braai! The weather played along perfectly, with the storm kindly holding off until much later.

Residents and friends had a wonderful afternoon catching up, sharing laughter, and enjoying each other’s company while our braai masters made sure every piece of meat was cooked to perfection.

It’s always such a joy to start the month with good food, good friends, and good memories!

These can be dropped off at the old age home office (Monday - Friday between 8am and 4pm)

at the bookshop on Wednesday 2pm - 5pm and Saturday 9am - 1pm.

Amanda Kruger, a true friend

Friendships are important at Juana Maria Frail Aged Home, and one such close friend to the home, Amanda Kruger, who has been part of the Juana Maria family and involved in numerous ways over the years, still makes an effort to visit our residents, especially Mrs. Margaret Hurter, regularly.

Although Amanda sometimes has to face a treacherous road from where she lives deep in the Drakensberg, she always makes sure to keep up with the news at Juana Maria and visits as often as she can.

Amanda, we want you to know that you are appreciated here at Juana Maria Frail Aged Home.

Let’s come together for a beautiful evening of worship, fellowship, and community as we celebrate the start of the Christmas season.

Our Friday afternoon knitting and crochet gatherings are always a special occasion — filled with the gentle clack of knitting needles and cheerful chatter among friends.
