Fitness - A few guidelines

1) Everybody needs a minimum of at least 40 minutes of exercise a day, Every day.
2) Four sessions in the week, must at least produce a light sweat.
3) Do not try to become Over Fit overnight, rather increase your fitness level gradually.
4) Remember even Walking is exercise. Sometimes a Good brisk walk is better on your knees than running depending on your age. If you have access to a Gym, Weight training and Stretching are better than Cardio vascular exercises only. 4 Sessions of Weight training and 3 sessions of Cardiovascular training is sufficient.
5) People complain about Arthritis, but most of the time it is lack of movement in the Joints, that causes the inflammation. What you don't use, you lose.
6) Exercise is a Must. 40 minutes a day is all that is required. Instead of watching TV for 4 hours in your day, Make time for your Health and make time for yourself.
7) Simple exercises and a regular schedule will make it easy. They do not require a lot of equipment.

1) The more you Process your food the less healthy it becomes.
2) Food you buy at the Super Market is there to make a profit for the owner. Hence it contains Preservatives to give it a longer shelf life. Colourants so it can look nice. Low Frequency Microwaves so Fruit & Vegetables last longer on their shelves. Be careful what you buy.
3) Why buy Fizzy Drinks and Crisps when you can buy a bag of oranges, apples and Pears. Which are much healthier.
4) SOS Foods (Salt, Oil & Sugars) are the staples of all Take Away Foods. They are Not healthy for us. Do not think of them as a treat.
5) Vegetables should not be over cooked, but preferably if you can manage, have it Raw!
6) Food should be the source of your Health. Not the source of your Sickness. If you put Rubbish in, Expect a Rubbish result.

Drugs - Is never the answer.

Any chronic medication, for whichever condition, only addresses the symptoms and never cause. If you suffer from Sugar Diabetes, High blood pressure, Arthritis, asthma and the other various chronic conditions, including mental illness.
