KIDNEY HEALTH TAKES CENTRE STAGE AS MPH HOSTS WORLD KIDNEY DAY CAMPAIGN

With the global eyes set on World Kidney Day, our hospital’s Renal Unit joined in and commemorated this colossal celebration with an awareness campaign at the OPD entrance.

Staff engaged patients, visitors and the hospital community on the importance of kidney health. Through educational talks, the team shared information on how to take care of the kidneys, the warning signs of kidney disease and the importance of early detection and treatment.

The initiative encouraged everyone to prioritise their kidney health and make informed lifestyle choices.

HANDS IN THE SOIL, HEARTS IN HEALING AS MPH SOWS SEEDS OF HOPE & HARVESTS HEALING WITH TREES & FLOWERS’ PLANTING INITIATIVE

As we head into Valentine’s Day weekend, love was certainly in the soil at Mahikeng Provincial Hospital today as we celebrated love in a different way - by planting trees and flowers that will continue to heal today, tomorrow and for generations to come.

Our facility was abuzz with red attire, unity and purpose as our grounds bloomed into a vibrant space of renewal. Staff, management, stakeholders and community members came together to plant and cultivate something far greater than gardens.

Through this initiative, the hospital rejuvenated its environment, creating a greener, more welcoming space that reflects care, unity and purpose. Together, we chose to celebrate love through action - nurturing not only our surroundings, but the spirit of teamwork that keeps our hospital thriving.

We planted love. We planted hope and together, we grew a hospital that blossoms from the inside out.
