NUTRITION KNOWLEDGE IN ACTION AS MPH DIETICIANS FUELS MINDS ABOUT THE POWER OF GOOD EATING 🥒🌽🥦🥗🥬🍌🍊🍎🍓

In celebration of School Health Week, our Dietetics Unit paid a visit to Boitshoko High School in efforts to promote healthy eating, balanced nutrition and overall wellness among learners.

Through interactive talks, food models used for fun demonstrations, learners were reminded that good nutrition fuels both the mind and body, helping them stay focused, strong and ready to achieve their set academic results 📚

Our dieticians also joined hands with our sister facility, Bophelong Hospital, as they hosted a Nutrition Week awareness session. Together, the teams educated patients and staff on the importance of balanced eating and making informed food choices for a healthier life.🥗

UNITY & PRAYER AS MPH CELEBRATES DIVERSELY ANOINTED HERITAGE DAY

Today, we marked Heritage Day in a truly unique way - blending cultures and diversity through a heartfelt prayer session. Clad in their beautiful traditional attires, staff members across the breath and length of the hospital gathered together for a prayer session, lifting songs of worship and words of unity.

We prayed for our hospital, for the strength and resilience of our teams and for the families and communities we serve. We prayed for compassion to guide our hands, wisdom to lead our decisions and kindness to strengthen the way we care for our patients. Most importantly, we prayed for unity and teamwork - the very bonds that hold MPH together.

GENERIC & ORIGINAL MEDICATION 💊

“Will this work too”? Frequently asked question by patients for pharmacists when administering generic vs original/branded medication 🙋🏾‍♀️🙋‍♂️

They must explain how glucophage and metformin are same WhatsApp group 🤷🏽‍♀️Or that allergex will work the same as chlorpheniramine and that atroiza instead of odimune is okay 😂
