ONE LIFE

Though I feel like I have lived before, maybe I have who knows?
but what I know is how to live the life that I have been given
I know my duties and responsibilities

one life, but how I live it is like a coordinated map which shows me the journeys I must embark on
I can see destination what inhibits me from reaching it. Is the doubt for myself, which keeps me from pursuing what I should have already been undergoing

One life,
with manual,
Who dictates how I live it?
no one, and so should no one with your life

SOLACE IN THE DARK

Even I could not believe what I found in the darkness
but it did not scare me, for it hid me from the judgemental eyes of society
I was kept safe

in the darkness, I could express myself
in the darkness, I learned more about myself and even made peace with what troubles me
I found peace of mind and solace in the darkness

I found courage, and I became the spark that burns in the darkness
now I shine bright in my own right
I am the light that lights my path

what I eminate is hope, dreams and success
I am not scared of the darkness it raised me
what scares me is those who dwell in it without finding the light

DO IT ALL

"How do I do it all?",
I don't, and in all honesty, I don't know how I am still holding on
but,

It keeps me on knowing that out there is someone who looks at me and feels motivated,
I don't do it all,

I just do my bit for the say that will get me to tomorrow, i stand strong even when I feel weak in the knees because if I don't firm, then who will man up for me?

what keeps me motivated is the distance I've come from the place I no longer want to be in
Destination is known but undetermined
haven't I come far to go back now??

So, I don't do it all
I do it one step at a time,
won't I crumble in it if I try it all simultaneously??

CONSEQUENCES OF FREEDOM co-written with Stellar Verses

What is freedom for you?
Are you after freedom of want,
Or freedom of expression?
Or the right to love,
Or choice of your death,
Is that what freedom means?
Maybe it's not freedom you seek, but bo***ge with your limited power.

"Redemption," can I classify that as freedom?
What I want can not be expressed through love,
What means freedom to me may not be what it means to you, I wish to rid off the shackles that still inhibit the progression of my people.

People enslave by the greedy ones who wanted to own their vast treasure.
They never saw it coming, believing the lies, for they are a race of pire souls.
Now, even though they know its much too late, the youth is starting a revolution,
To take what they have always owned,
And live in a world free and unshackled.

Is what we can only hope,
A world that is free is no longer where we live,
What we can wish for or want is no longer what we gonna get
What is peace in this world?

Let me be free if only my thoughts
Unshackled able to express
Then i dont mind even as my bid
The consequence of freedom is that, consequently, freedom is not free

"If poverty could talk"

"if poverty could talk",
Unfortunately it does, my wish was so that what it says falls upon deaf ears
because why should we listen when poverty calls out our name, and why do we obey?

yes, poverty knows that I come from a broken family but what broke me then must give me strength to rebuild a better family today
poverty even knows the location of every youngin who went to bed hungry and also endured school with starvation

Driven by hunger, my friend became hunger driven, starvation became motivation and though he opened when poverty came knocking, at last he sent it packing

"Poverty" is a lonely guru, and it is always talking, but if poverty could really talk then it would say "you come from nothing, what do you think you are going to be"?,
and I would reply it by saying,

you know where I come from but not where I am going, my place of origin does not define me
