A fever in a baby can feel scary, and it’s natural to wonder when to worry.

👉 See a doctor if your baby has a fever and:
• They are younger than 3 months (any fever needs medical attention)
• They are between 3–6 months with a fever over 38°C
• They are older than 6 months with a fever over 39°C
• The fever lasts longer than 2–3 days
• They are unusually sleepy, irritable, or unresponsive
• They struggle to feed, breathe, or have a persistent cough
• You notice a rash, stiff neck, or seizures
