Breast Cancer Awareness Reminder

Your monthly breast self-exam can save your life 💗
Here’s a simple 9-step guide to help you check your breasts once a month:

1️⃣ Check your breasts once a month, 7–10 days after your period starts.
👉 If you’re not menstruating, pick any date that’s easy to remember.

2️⃣ Examine your breasts with your arms raised, then with both hands on your hips, and finally with your arms down and relaxed.

3️⃣ Look for any physical changes — such as lumps, swelling, redness, rashes, or any differences in the shape or position of your ni***es.

4️⃣ Gently squeeze each ni**le to check for any pain or discharge.

5️⃣ Raise one hand and use the pads of 3–4 fingers on the opposite hand to feel your armpit first.

6️⃣ To check your breast, start at the outer edge and move toward the ni**le, covering small sections at a time.

7️⃣ Then move your fingertips up and down, and in circular motions, starting from the outer part and moving inward.

8️⃣ Repeat the same steps lying on your back — use a pillow under your shoulder for comfort if needed.

9️⃣ If you have any questions, changes, or doubts, visit your doctor.

💗 Remember: Do your mammogram annually and take care of your breasts — early detection saves lives!
