So while we wait for the official opening of Bloom Physio and Wellness, you might as well try these few tips for your sinus issues. Thank me later😉
1. Lie on your back without a pillow (no I am not saying you should sleep this way, it's only for the few minutes of this exercise)
2. Push your tongue against the roof of your mouth. Apply pressure but don't go overboard.
3. Place your thumb between your eyebrows.
4. Press down with your thumb for about 30 seconds, applying a decent amount of pressure.
5. Repeat this around your eyes (follow your eyebrows sideways and then your cheeks all the way to your nose bridge. Remember to apply pressure with your tongue and hold each spot for about 30 seconds.
6. The exercise works even better if you nebulise with saline before starting.
You should feel the sinuses drain almost immediately. If you feel that the exercise is helpful but still remain with a sinus headache, make an appointment with me.
