I’ve been telling yall for years that every lineage has their own spiritual gift that they are given, that is tied to the family’s sthunywa, that was given to them for them to play a important role in the community AND for them to make a living. Spiritual gifts are not only sangoma ntoz, it’s EVERYTHING. Some families are farmers, others are cooks, other take care of kids, others are leaders, others heal ailments, other are builders, others are protectors, others are comforters etc. the list is endless.
I hope that we can one day get back to this. Where we do what we are built to do, not what is most profitable right now.
Who is dressing you? Because the person who makes your clothes determines your appearance. So does your perfumer (who is a herbalist by nature).
Who makes your cooking utensils? Who makes your cutlery and crockery? Who makes your home’s furniture? Who makes your bedding? Who is growing your food?
Why do we struggle so much when trying to get izambatho? Because the person making them has to be in the correct spiritual state to make your clothes, because your sthunywa is very sensitive about what energy you bring. If their energy isn’t correct they will be blocked from making it. They have their own lives that move their emotions around which affects their spiritual energy, so it can take a very long time to get to what is needed for you. Sometimes the person has be in “big boss” mode and that’s not a feeling that they usually carry, so it will happen after a year when they win a tender for something, and on that day your garments will call on them “You can make me now” but you paid a year ago. You see?
Your wedding attire? The person who made them? What mode were they in? Your child’s school uniform? Even if you bought the uniform from the school, at times you have to make it yourself and just make sure that it is exact.
Your bedding?
Who is cleaning your house? Because some people will clean your house and that day your house wi become full of flies, niphuphe kabi, nixabane.
Who is your hairdresser? Because that person holds your energetic bag.
It’s a lot wethu but I hope we one day get back to our positions
