Some goodbyes are holy ground.
This one is.

Watching you step into this next chapter has me in tears—not from loss, but from the weight of everything that has been. The years, the horses, the discipline, the becoming. Few people your age carry themselves with this much gratitude, humility, and clarity.

What you achieved in the arena wasn’t accidental. It was earned—through consistency, courage, and a deep respect for the animals who carried you there. That bond never disappears. It simply changes form.

I am so proud of you for listening when God said now. This is not the end of who you are—it’s the expansion of it. Hilton College is gaining a young man who understands discipline, responsibility, and the cost of excellence.

And while the boots may be hung up for now, know this: I’ll still be walking alongside you—ensuring your body stays aligned, supported, and resilient as you take on new physical demands. Athletes change codes; the body still needs care.

Thank you for trusting me with a small part of your journey.
Thank you for loving your horses the way you do.
And thank you for reminding all of us that growth sometimes asks us to let go—without forgetting.

Go well.
Run hard.
Stay grounded.

This is not goodbye. It’s see you differently.

Announcement – Hilton College Rugby Scholarship

It’s a bittersweet month for me as I hang up my boots and begin an exciting new chapter — completing my schooling and pursuing a fresh challenge in rugby at Hilton College.

I feel incredibly blessed for the past almost 10 years of my showjumping career.

I’ve partnered with exceptional ponies and horses who taught me so much and to whom I owe every success.

I’ve also had the honour of representing prestigious brands who trusted me to carry their names with professionalism — something I’ve never taken for granted.
Thank you for your loyalty, encouragement, and belief in me.

Representing my country in the Green & Gold Protea colours, competing for Team Gauteng six times on five different horses, winning both national and series titles, sharing podiums with remarkable athletes, and topping national rankings in two categories at the highest junior levels — these are memories I will cherish forever.

At just 16, after three years competing and placing at the very top of the Junior Open division, I step away feeling proud, humbled, and deeply grateful.

A special thank you to Chad — a kinder, humbler, and more professional coach and role model you will never find. You deserve as much credit as I do. You’ve changed my life, and I’m proud to have been coached by you.

To my incredible equestrian team: it truly takes a village. Your dedication, care, and belief made my dreams possible. I’ll miss seeing you every day — you are family to me.

Being scouted for a Rugby Scholarship at Hilton College is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I’m excited and honoured to attend such a prestigious school and compete in top-tier schoolboy rugby. You never know what you’re capable of until you try.

I can ride well into my seventies if I choose — but I can’t start chasing a rugby career later and expect to make an impact. I’ve turned this opportunity down before, but I know the time is now.

To everyone who supported me through the highs and lows of this demanding sport — thank you. Your encouragement meant more than words can express. The memories will stay with me forever.

Thank you to my family & my grooms for supporting my decision and being there for me through the tears and heartache.

And finally, to my horses.

I loved you long before I loved the sport. You shaped me, taught me, and gave me more than I could ever repay. Letting go has been the hardest decision of my life, but I trust God’s plan. The bond between horse and rider is a love few understand — and I carry that with me always.

Thank you. It’s been a privilege and an honour.

So excited for you Jenna Gilchrist !! 🥳🥳💙

News from Europe

At the end of January, Jenna Gilchrist and her horse Negroni competed at the CSI1* in Kronenberg, the Netherlands.

The horse-and-rider combination will also be competing at the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, over the next three weeks.

Moments like these truly put Namibian equestrians on the map.

We wish Jenna Gilchrist and Negroni every success and will be cheering them on from home!

I don’t work on horses.
I listen to what their bodies are trying to say.

Every line of fascia, every pause in breath, every softening moment tells a story —
and when you honour the body, the nervous system follows.

This is where horse and human meet in balance.
This is Equestrian Excellence.

What a privilege to be trusted by all of you.

20/01/2026

Hartbeespoort Dam kind of days 🤍
Great horses, thoughtful owners, and bodies that wanted to change.

Today was about restoring range, letting tension melt instead of forcing it, and allowing the nervous system to catch up with the work these horses already do so well.
Subtle releases. Honest responses. Exactly what we want to see mid-season.

Thank you to our Harties clients for the trust, the conversations, and the commitment to doing right by your horses.
Quiet work. Real impact.

Back in the saddle before the year even starts.

First treatments of the season with our brand ambassador and his horses after a long break — resetting bodies, restoring balance, and laying clean foundations for what’s ahead.

No rushing. No shortcuts.
Just smart prep, healthy tissue, and horses ready to step into the season feeling right.

2026 isn’t about pushing harder.
It’s about listening earlier.

To the bodies that whisper before they shout.
To horses and riders who deserve longevity, not just results.

Here’s to consistent care, deeper understanding,
and doing the work that actually lasts.
🤍🐎

This year wasn’t just busy — it was transformational.
For our horses, our riders, our community… and for us. 🤍

We travelled further than ever, strengthened our Zimbabwe family, and confirmed our USA Feb 2026 educational trip.

We taught, empowered, and watched owners step into deeper connection with their horses.

Our ambassadors made history — one breaking into the China circuit , another placing 3rd in Europe

We expanded into new yards, met incredible people, and felt the loyalty of clients who’ve been with us since the beginning.

We got so booked we extended our calendar (and January is already nearly full).

We witnessed powerful healing — including helping a client realign after a broken jaw

And behind the scenes, we upgraded our toolbox with new therapeutic machines.

This year asked a lot of us — movement, courage, faith, resilience —

But it gave us even more:
growth, gratitude, and a community that keeps choosing us.

Here’s to an even bigger year ahead.
More healing.
More learning.
More breakthroughs for the horses and humans we’re blessed to walk beside.
