I have been dreaming up this Day Retreat for months and it is finally coming into fruition. 😍
This is no ordinary event.

This is about us as women stepping into a space together…all holding similar roles in life, in our work, our homes, our relationships and our friendships.

Through a women’s constellation, we begin to uncover the patterns that shape how we show up…
so we can recognise what we’ve been carrying without even realising it.

How that affects the way we support, collaborate and connect with each other...and with ourselves.

Then we move into the creative part of the day. 🤩
Working with the earth’s gemstones, choosing what speaks to you and what you want to carry forward.

This is not just another mala workshop.
You will create something intentional…a piece you can wear every day as a reminder of the invisible threads you are part of.

Many women believe they are just ‘overthinkers’.
But overthinking is rarely about thinking too much.
It is usually the result of a nervous system that has been under pressure for too long.

Neurobiological studies have shown that when someone is chronically stressed or anxious, certain brain networks involved in alertness and threat detection become more active, which can make the brain more likely to look for problems.

One of the most powerful things we work on in Soulful Foundations is learning how to regulate the nervous system again.
Through breathwork, movement, and simple rituals that bring the body back to safety.

When the body feels safe, the mind becomes quiet.
And clarity returns.

The hard truth I’ve learned about real self-care?
It isn’t always relaxing.

Sure, things like spa days, walks in nature and a quiet morning with coffee are essential, but the kind of self-care that truly changes your life often asks more of you.

Sometimes self-care is having the courage to say no. It’s setting a boundary that makes you, or others uncomfortable.
Sometimes it’s sticking to that early morning yoga session because you’ve chosen time for yourself. Sometimes it’s pushing your boundaries to remain true to the goals you’ve set.
Sometimes it’s keeping the focus on you when life gets in the way.

Real self-care requires honesty and integrity. It asks you to listen to yourself, to recognise when something isn’t aligned, and to make choices that protect your energy, clarity, and wellbeing, even when those choices feel difficult in the moment.

Self-care isn’t about escaping life. It’s about showing up for it fully, and that kind of self-care isn’t indulgence.
It’s self-respect. ✨

You don’t become your next-level self in one great life-changing event. It’s a slow, gradual transformation, repeating the right habits and rituals every day.

It’s the small things.
The morning coffee outdoors before scrolling your Whatsapp messages.
It’s being the person who braves a 5:30am workout or a cold shower before work
It’s the mind that’s aware enough to notice when it’s self-criticising, and redirecting that thought to something positive.
It’s the nightly check-in on what could be done better.
It’s the boundaries that are created, and then held, daily.

Until it all becomes automatic. Until we slowly grow into the woman we were always meant to be.
Small things done repeatedly become our identity.

So the question isn’t “When will I become her?”
It’s “What would she do today?” 💛

Can we talk about how women friendships are basically unpaid health insurance? 😅💛

Women are wired to handle stress by connecting. We sit across a table and say, “You will NOT believe what just happened.” Or send the 20-minute voice note that starts with, “Okay so don’t judge me…”

Connection is how we cope, and heal.

One of my favourite things is watching women arrive at our retreats alone and a little unsure, not knowing anyone, and by the end of the week they’ve found their people through soulful conversations, new experiences, and the sense of being truly seen without judgement.

The Horse is about forward movement, independence, and momentum.
Fire adds confidence, drive, and a bit of heat.
Together, it is the kind of energy that supports moving forward even when something feels uncomfortable or unfamiliar.

I see this so often, on the mat and in life.
The body still has capacity, but the mind steps in early.
The self doubt starts talking.
I cannot.
I am not strong enough.
This is too much.

What I am interested in right now is challenging that voice.
Not by forcing or pushing.
But by staying present a little longer.
By breathing.
By noticing what actually happens when we do not back out straight away.

This is not about doing more all the time.
It is about making conscious choices.
Knowing when to stay.
Knowing when to rest.
And knowing when it is time to step slightly outside your comfort zone.

Fire Horse energy is a reminder that most of us have far more strength, capacity, and inner knowledge than we give ourselves credit for.
The work is not becoming someone new.
It is remembering what is already there and getting out of our own way.

As we move into this new Chinese year, I am asking myself this.
How do I want to move forward?
What am I ready to challenge?
And what stories am I telling myself?

I know what it feels like to be disconnected, physically, mentally, and emotionally. There were times when I felt stuck, depressed, or like I’d lost touch with myself.
However, I realised there was nothing wrong with me. I was just disconnected from who I was, and what brought me joy.

Yoga became something I needed rather than something I squeezed in. That realisation led me to leave my corporate career over eight years ago and begin creating spaces where women could slow down, reconnect, and feel again.
Since then, I have guided hundreds of women through movement, breath, ceremony, reflection, and meaningful experiences that support them in returning to themselves.

My work is grounded and soulful, practical and intuitive. It is designed for women who have built full lives yet feel a quiet pull for something more honest, more embodied, more true.
