🌾 From harvest to hearts ❤️

The Mpilonhle team, in collaboration with The Department of Correctional Services (DCS), recently conducted a community outreach in eMachibini distributing fresh spinach harvested by parolees through the DCS Food Garden Rehabilitation Programme.

The community also received towels, bed linen, and slippers generously donated by The Beverly Hills hotel.

Together, we’re growing change one act of kindness at a time 🌱

🌱 Parolee Rehabilitation Through Food Security | KwaMsane, eMbotsheni

Launched in July 2025, this community-driven initiative empowers parolees through hands-on work in sustainable food gardens 🍅🌾

Funded by the EPWP through the Independent Development Trust (IDT), and supported by the Department of Correctional Services (DCS), the programme helps parolees gain agricultural skills, rebuild dignity, and reintegrate into society, while strengthening local food security 🤝💚
