Zen Chair's, folding Ashram backrests provide ergonomic back support for meditators and retreat part Zen Chairs fold flat and weigh approx. 1400g.

We have just launched our new folding steel framed Zen Chair. It comes in two styles: The Galileo Zen for recreational and outdoor use and The Zen Chair for meditation and indoor use. They can be carried easily over your shoulder with the handy shoulder strap and fit easily into a medium sized travel case. The Galileo Zen features a water resistant 600D Oxford Nylon cover and the Zen Chair is usually a cotton Twill or canvas. They come in a variety of colours and fabrics depending on availability. Additional cushions are available for added support.

Our Story

We have been creating Zen Chair Backrests for 20 years!! It all started when Robyn joined a meditation group and more backrests were needed. After much research and development she created the Original Zen chair. Twenty years down the line and we now have three versions of folding backrests to support you, either during meditation or when you are simply enjoying a music concert or a picnic.

You know, those days when you just need to lean back against something comfy and supportive? The Zen Chair is your friend!

We believe in the power of meditation and breath to bring peace and loving kindness to the world and so we encourage as many people as possible to join the growing numbers of meditator’s in the world.

The Galileo is for outdoor folding and portable backrest. These are fabulous for concerts and picnics. Fun and relaxation is the other essential ingredient to a happy life.
