DYK: Over 2⃣5⃣ million adults in Africa live with diabetes. The disease can impact people across all life stages, including childhood, the reproductive years, working age and older adulthood.

It is diagnosed by testing blood sugar. Early detection, access to care, and adopting healthier lifestyles are vital for managing the disease and preventing complications.
