Welcome Dr Darren Joseph!

We welcome Dr Darren Joseph to our practice ...

Dr Darren Joseph is an adult pulmonologist and specialist physician. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Cape Town, graduating with first class honours and distinction in the pre-clinical and final clinical examinations.

As a medical student, he held various leadership positions including being elected as his final year class representative, as well as holding various senior positions in SHAWCO Health, a student-run volunteer health organisation servicing underprivileged communities across Cape Town and surrounding areas.

He completed his internship at Tembisa Hospital, winning performance awards during this time for his rotations in family medicine and paediatrics. After finishing community service at Tshwane District Hospital, Dr Joseph spent several years working in emergency medicine in the private sector. He then worked as a medical officer in the Department of Critical Care at Steve Biko Academic Hospital, before embarking on further postgraduate studies in Internal Medicine. He successfully completed his specialist training in 2017, graduating cm laude from the University of Pretoria with an MMed in Internal Medicine, as well as obtaining his FCP from the College of Medicine South Africa.

Dit is geen geheim dat va**ng onder kinders 'n groot probleem is nie. Dit affekteer nie net hulle by die skool nie maar kan ook geestelike probleme veroorsaak. Ons het n paneel van kenners bymekaar gesit om die probleem in meer diepte te bespreek.

Dr Taban is 'n pulminoloog, Wilna Stander 'n maatskaplike werker by 'n Hoërskool in Pretoria en Kurt Yeo van Va**ng saved my life.
