Our CEO, Rory, recently met with the Chief of the Attaqua Khoi, Poem Mooney, to discuss our future in Sceletium farming, and ensuring beneficiation for its original founders. This meaningful collaboration is paving the way for sustainable growth and honoring the heritage of this incredible plant.

In a heartwarming moment, Steel, our beloved farm horse, trotted over to say hello during the meeting! We’re taking this as a sign of great things to come for our community and this project.

From Farm to Pharma: HP Biotech's End-to-End Expertise in Sceletium

HP Biotech is proud to be among the few companies globally offering a fully integrated, end-to-end solution in the production of Sceletium. From propagation in our nurseries and cultivation on our farms to advanced laboratory extraction and the development of finished products — we manage the entire process with precision and care.

Our core business lies in bulk manufacturing, supplying high-quality Sceletium extracts to both local and international partners. We produce pure extracts standardised to contain between 0.8% and 10% Total Alkaloids, tailored to meet diverse product requirements.

Our farms are stretched between areas from Oudtshoorn to Paarl, Stanford, De Rust and Namibia, in order to minize risk.

HP Biotech is also at the forefront of innovation in this space, cultivating and extracting both Sceletium tortuosum and Sceletium crassicaule. While crassicaule is a relatively new entrant to the market, it is already demonstrating exceptional efficacy and a strong potential to become a leading choice in the field.
