Karin plays a key role in keeping both our team and our operations running smoothly. With her knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and procedures, she ensures that our care standards always stay high. From managing human resources to supporting operational performance, Karin is someone we can always rely on.

She communicates easily with staff, doctors, and stakeholders, and her understanding of health regulations, nursing ethics, and quality standards helps guide our team in the right direction. Karin is also the one who recruits, mentors, and schedules our nursing staff, making sure the right people are in the right place at the right time.

St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17th to honor the patron saint of Ireland, who died on this day in the 5th century. Originally a religious feast day commemorating the arrival of Christianity in Ireland.

Michael is the man who keeps our home running like a well-oiled machine. As the leader of our fantastic maintenance team, he makes sure everything — from infrastructure and machinery to electrical and mechanical systems — stays in top shape.

With his strong technical knowledge and hands-on approach, Michael not only manages the team but also trains staff and promotes a strong culture of safety. He keeps things running smoothly by planning preventative maintenance and staying one step ahead of any potential problems.

Around here, no job is too big or too small for Michael. If something needs fixing, improving, or figuring out — he’s already on it.

Sometimes we just wish he had a few extra arms… because he’s everywhere at once!

Heike is the organised heartbeat of our office. With an incredible eye for detail and a natural talent for organisation, she keeps everything running smoothly — from finances and HR to facility management and compliance. If something needs structure, systems, Heike is the one who makes it happen.

She communicates effortlessly with staff, residents, and outside stakeholders, always making sure everyone feels informed and supported. When challenges pop up, Heike tackles them.

Behind the scenes, she manages office operations, coordinates meetings, keeps records in perfect order, and ensures we stay aligned with company policies. She also oversees viewings for future residents — and thanks to her warm welcome and professional approach, many newcomers choose to join our in-house community.

With qualifications in Nursing, Finance, and Hospitality — and an incredible 28 years of experience in elder care — she has built a career around caring for people and making a difference.

She has a natural talent for leading diverse teams, encouraging teamwork, and motivating those around her. Her warm personality and excellent communication skills make her wonderful to work with, whether she is supporting residents, chatting with families, or guiding staff.

With a strong understanding of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and best practices in elderly care, Annatjie always finds practical and creative solutions to challenges while ensuring residents feel safe, valued, and cared for.

She has proven time and again just how valuable she is to our in-house community. Always friendly, always joking, and always bringing a smile to those around her — Annatjie is truly a joy to work with.
