Help Jayce Get the Support He Deserves!

Jayce is a brave 3-year-old facing severe developmental delays and medical challenges due to complications from hydrocephalus. A medical error during his initial treatment left him blind, unable to swallow, and in need of constant care. Despite these challenges, his loving parents, Karl and Courtney Helberg, are doing everything they can to provide for him.

Jayce urgently needs specialized medical equipment, including a custom-made support chair that will improve his posture, comfort, and overall quality of life. However, the cost of this essential equipment is far beyond what his family can afford alone.

This is where we need your help! Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to giving Jayce the care he deserves. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your friends and family.

📢 Share to spread the word!

Together, we can make a difference in Jayce’s life. Thank you for your kindness and support! 💙

Dearest friends and supporters,

We just received the 1st snow fall that starts off our winter season. I carry on my heart the burden of knowing that right here close by to myself lives this girl who is faced with the prospects of a really cold winter sleeping on the floor of this hut. I have started this campaign on GivenGain in order to see if there are people out there who would help me carry this burden in an effort to improve her living conditions.

I know there are many of us living in this beautiful country who still care about others faced with circumstantial hardships like disabilities.

Be grateful for what you have and always be kind towards others.

Please consider helping this girl and others like her by supporting the work disAbility Connexion does.

Stay safe and let's make a difference together.

A huge thank you to our supporters who helped with second-hand clothes and blankets or contributed towards food hampers. The clothes and blankets are being distributed by community healthcare workers in the Inhlazuka community among people with disabilities who are starting to feel the cold of winter.
We were further able to give out six food hampers in the same community to people with disabilities who are really struggling during this lockdown. It was very much appreciated by the recipients.

We also met with a team of community healthcare workers screening residents in Inhlazuka for Covid-19. They have been instrumental in helping us deliver food parcels to some of the most inaccessible locations. From all of us at disAbility Connexion we would just like to thank you for the great work you are doing in the community.

disAbility Connexion management team would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who donated so generously.

We have to date been able to assist 10 families adversely affected by the covid-19 lock down.

With your help they have renewed hope for the immediate future. But the long term is still uncertain and depends on the duration of the lock down.

We greatly appreciate your continued support and encourage anyone, who is able, to contribute (No matter how big or small) and help us make a difference in the lives of those living with a disability.

Please inbox me if you feel lead to contribute.

Much appreciated
DC management
