As 2025 draws to its conclusion, I look back on a year that demanded resilience, offered unexpected grace and left an indelible imprint on my life. This has been a year full of change and growth, but most importantly, a year surrounded by incredible people, who made this all possible.

This year marked a huge milestone for CosMedic as we moved into our beautiful new home. For me, it wasn’t just a change of address, it truly felt like a new beginning. There were long days, late nights, a few unexpected hurdles and gallons of coffee, but seeing the space come to life has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Every detail now reflects exactly who we are.

Beyond our new home, 2025 was also a year of exploration and learning. Travel and training took me around the world, connecting me with brilliant mentors and peers who continue to inspire me. Those experiences refuelled my passion and reminded me that growth in medicine and aesthetics is an ever-evolving journey, with curiosity, humility and commitment to excellence at its core.

Of course, growth rarely comes without challenge. There were moments that tested my resilience and adaptability, but they also deepened my gratitude. They reminded me that progress isn’t always linear, and that the people who walk beside you make all the difference.

To my patients: thank you for your trust, loyalty and for allowing me to be part of your stories.

To my incredible team: your dedication, warmth, and humour keep everything moving, even on the hardest days.

And to my friends and family: your unwavering support behind the scenes has been my anchor through it all.

As I look ahead, my heart is full. CosMedic has grown, but what matters most hasn’t changed. We remain guided by compassion, integrity, and the simple joy of making people feel happier.

Things you may see on my desk: a demo syringe of filler, my laptop and a stethoscope that has been with me for 16 years.

Although it may not be the most commonly used tool in my rooms these days, my stethoscope serves as an emphatic symbol for me and for my patients: a reminder that at COSMEDIC, no matter how far or how fast the field of aesthetics evolves, medicine will always remains at our core.

Treating faces every day with non-invasive modalities often feels like having several artworks in progress at once. Each patient is unique, and the relationship I build with them shapes the way I approach their treatment.

Every face requires a balance of scientific planning, anatomical understanding, and a touch of creative foresight.
Filler, biostimulators, and wrinkle-relaxing injections are simply tools that are applied with intention, technique, and respect for individual structure.

For this patient, I used a very considered combination of the three to smooth, lift, and tighten the lower face, and I’m so pleased with how beautifully her result is developing.

In this field, meaningful change takes time and patience, and it’s a privilege to guide each person through that journey.

Before I was a doctor, a wife or a mum, I was just Lee.

A girl who thrived on connection, was endlessly curious about the “why” behind everything and who was always hungry to learn more. But I’ve also spent a lot of my life second-guessing myself. I battled (still do) self-doubt, lack of confidence, and that quiet voice that whispers, “you could be better.”

That feeling hasn’t completely gone away. I still have days when imposter syndrome sneaks in. But I’ve learned to see it differently - as a reminder to keep growing, to stay open-minded and adaptable, and to lead with empathy.

I know what it feels like to not feel your best. And that’s a big part of why I care so deeply about helping others feel comfortable, confident, and happy in their own skin, not just on the outside, but within themselves too.

CosMedic is a huge part of my life, but it’s not all of me. The same “Lee” who’s learning, questioning, laughing, and doing her best every day - that’s the person you’ll meet in the clinic.
