Mowana Year End Function

As the year draws to a close, it's time to reflect on the progress of Mowana as it continues it's path to provide cutting-edge ageless living and person-directed support to those that need it. Thanks to Sharee and her cowhands for the superb table decor, Capitol for the lunch, Mosaic for the music and congratulations to all that received long-service certificates.

From carefully balanced apples, a beautifully decorated and festive outdoor area, great music, Portchie printed guest gifts and always attentive Capitol staff appearing with delectable eats, the evening was set for success! Thank you Capitol Caterers for including us in your Year End/Office Warming dinner and a toast to all the hardworking Capitol staff that provide the most amazing meals and treats, not just on Friday night, but throughout the year! Appreciation post - Garden & Maintenance Teams

It is with much gratitude and heartfelt thanks that we recognise all the people that worked tirelessly to ensure that the WG communal areas, private open gardens and show houses were "up to scratch" for the Blackwoods Open Garden weekend. Let us take a moment to also appreciate all the residents, staff and family members that made themselves available over the weekend, and beforehand, baking and creating for the market.

Remember to bring your donation of personal care essentials this weekend when you visit our Open Village!

As Mowana serves older adults across the financial spectrum, including those who need help as they only have their Older Persons Grant to support them financially, the cost of toiletries is beyond what a number of Sunnyside Village residents can afford. So any contribution, whether in product or money will help us all give the beneficiaries a sense of dignity and comfort. We are looking to make up packs for 50 people.
