A recent UFS study tested pads and pantyliners sold in South Africa and found small amounts of endocrine-disrupting chemicals in all samples tested.

This does not mean pads are suddenly unsafe.
But it does highlight the need for better transparency and research around menstrual products.

EDCs are common in many everyday items, and risk depends on dose, duration and overall exposure. With 400+ periods in a lifetime, informed choices matter.

🌸 Empowered, Prepared & Confident! 🌸

This weekend, we had the privilege of guiding a group of incredible young girls through an open and supportive conversation about their changing bodies. From understanding the menstrual cycle to learning how to manage period symptoms and exploring different period products, we made sure they left feeling informed, prepared, and confident. 💖

As a special surprise, each girl received an emergency period kit for their school bag - complete with essentials to help them feel ready when their first period arrives. Plus, we made friendship bracelets with empowering affirmations, because every girl deserves to feel supported and strong! 💪🏽✨
