On 8 November 2025 at approximately 20h21, the ๐ช๐๐ฏ ๐ก๐๐ช ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐ received an urgent call for assistance in Debengeni Road.
A resident was suffering a life-threatening illness and did not have medical aid cover. A neighbour and member of the Reaction Team raised the alarm.
Recognising the severity of the emergency and the impact of waiting for a state ambulance, the call was escalated to ๐ฆ.๐ง.๐.๐ฅ.๐ง. ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐๐ฒ, where Red Line Response intercepted and immediately dispatched one of their ambulances to assist.
Members of ๐ช๐๐ฏ ๐ก๐๐ช ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐ arrived on scene and began administering first aid. Shortly thereafter, Red Line Response arrived to take over patient care and transported the patient to hospital for further treatment.
Sadly, once at the hospital, the patientโs condition deteriorated rapidly and the outcome was not good. Our thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.
