The food pyramid was declared not suitable in 1983!!! Yet in my Dietetics studies we were taught that was that we may teach.

Yet my Food Science and human biology and research about food and its impact in the body gave completely a different set of facts.

We had to have two different answers for the same question!!! Depending on the subject and faculty!

Soooo many politically inspired 'facts' we had to apply and learn!!! It made me sick.

How many years has it taken now for the US department to say it out load....

I guess they just waited for a Trump and Kennedy to not yield under false pretenses anymore and have the backbones to speak up.

So excited about all the changes!

This is why I advise people to be highly cautious of taking antibiotics and to avoid them whenever there’s an effective natural route to take instead.

When I had my severe spinal infection years ago, I didn’t want to take antibiotics, but it became a necessity. I went on them for as short of a time as possible, and focused on doing everything I could to strengthen my gut during and after that.

Antibiotics don’t just target bad bacteria, they thin out your good bacteria too, which can stress mitochondria, immune balance, and the gut–brain axis. After finishing the antibiotics, I focused on restoring my microbiome with fermented foods, prebiotic fiber, quality probiotics, mineral-rich broths, sleep, and stress reduction.

If you’ve needed multiple antibiotic rounds, it’s very important to focus on a gut-healing protocol in that aftermath.
