As Irish Week has sadly come to an end, it has shown us that impact is not always loud…sometimes it lives in time given, in the skills shared, kindness shown and relationships built.

From time spent in our clinic, classrooms, social services, crèche visits and nutrition units to youth programmes, garden work, home visits, spiritual gatherings, creative sessions and shared spaces of reflection, this week was filled with people showing up genuinely and wholeheartedly. 🥹💚

Missionvale Ireland, we are so grateful to have shared this journey of service and connection with you. ☘️🇿🇦🇮🇪❤️

A special thank you to for capturing and editing such a special video for our social media on Day 3. 🫶🏾

Love showed up in the sweetest way today.

A special member of our community, Phunyezwa Buru Mahlongwane, chose to celebrate her 30th birthday by sharing kindness with the very community she calls home. By baking 335 mini cakes for the elderly that queue for bread & soup every weekday.

Moments like these remind us that community care can come from within, they show the power of stepping forward, sharing what you have and being part of building the community we all want to live in.🩵🎂

Grateful for the energy, the people and the moments that show us what true partnership looks like. With our Chaos Coordinators guiding the way, it’s been amazing to see everyone find their rhythm 😊

Alongside the Colour Run, we also got to celebrate Valentine’s Day sharing smiles, kindness and spreading love throughout the day. A beautiful reminder that love lives in togetherness, care and joyful moments of childhood.

Happy Valentines Day❤️🎁

Moments like these reward us in ways words never can. Seeing smiles, hearing laughter and watching our community come together is why we do what we do. 🎨🩵

Today’s Colour Run was so special in creating memories our children will carry and reminding them that they are celebrated and deeply valued.

Thank you to every teacher, parent, donor and supporter who made this possible. Moments like these help us build sustainable ways to keep showing up for our children and when families walk this journey with us, our children thrive.

Learning isn’t just about what you know…it’s about how you communicate, how you work with others and how you show up for yourself and those around you.

With the Work Readiness sessions and Selection process continuing, participants are being prepared for the workplace through clear communication, empathy, teamwork and time management. From listening deeply to managing distractions and learning to work as a team, these are the skills that turn potential into preparedness.

Now, as this final week of induction draws to a close and the formal ITDC programme approaches. Education becomes more than just knowledge but about equipping people with the confidence, discipline and belief to step forward and claim their future!

In every shared story and every brave voice reading out loud, we’re reminded that literacy is more than words on a page. It’s connection, courage, imagination and knowing every child’s voice matters.

And today? Stories didn’t just get read… they showed up in costume 📖🎭 From fairy-tale flair to storybook characters, learners and teachers at Normoyle Primary turned World Read Aloud Day into a joyful, expressive, slightly magical celebration of learning!!

Happy World Read Aloud Day!! 💙📖🦅
