EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES!

The Mayor of Nelson Mandela Bay, Cllr Athol Trollip leading a media briefing about the PinkDrive campaign set to take place from 23-27 October 2017. An amount of R350k has been raised for initiative by partners in the private sector. The PinkDrive testing cancer screening unit will be moving across needy communities such as Chatty, Kwanobuhle and Motherwell, Walmer and Greenbushes, Port Elizabeth. Services such as pap smears will be done. Other partners involved include the Department of Health and the Nelson Mandela Bay Stars cricket team.The Mayor emphasised that early detection leads to early treatment...and saves lives...
