We are happy to do any kind of event if you are needing a refreshment tent with a healthy difference.

We are known for our takeaway teas and also supply deliciously replenishing iced teas. I was so fortunate to be born into the very wild and beautiful eastern province of South Africa, where my parents would often have somewhat heated discussions about the ‘correct’ indigenous and latin names for almost every single plant or tree in the area. This is where my love and admiration of plants, and later their amazing healing powers began. Another extremely undeniable influence in my life was in fact growing up in a house where if anything were the matter… a nice cup of tea would be an instant solution. So the combination of the above influences, working as a natural health practitioner for the last 17 years and my husband brewing up the most amazing tea combinations for as long as I can remember…Chi Time Teas was born.

Today is another special day for us, marking twenty years of marriage to this truly impressive human😍But our story began at least thirty years ago on a dancefloor in an old club in GQ called Einstein's, doing what we love most, dancing🎉
Lance exploded onto the dancefloor with his crazy Scottish friend called Mark, stealing our water, dancing around us, playing pranks and generally just being 'a lot'😂
Before I knew it this crazy beautiful man had crept into my heart.
It wasn't, and it hasn't, and it probably won't be plain sailing at all for us, but there is not one thing I would change💚
I just can't believe that I got so lucky 🙏😍
Thank you Lance for being my/our everything, and for navigating this life (and perhaps a few before it) with us🩵

Happy happy birthday to our oldest and wisest tea drinker in the family, Mom🤩
Today we would've celebrated extra hard as Lances' (Sheena's, Kenray's and Jules') late Mom and ours shared the same birthday💟
Both equally amazing, strong, beautiful, kind and independent woman💜
So grateful that my Mom is still with us but we miss our other Mom/Granny/Maddy so much, especially today.
I am not so sure if Maddy would've loved Chi Time Teas blends as much as my Mom does though 😂 She always was a little bit (more like a lot😅)suspicious of our natural treatments or ''concoctions' we made we were younger😅
Life is so precious, and today I remind myself to not take even the most trying times with family for granted, as these are also part of our short journey together, and in essence what bonds us and forms a lifetime of memories ❤️

The origin of Chi Time Teas

I was so fortunate to be born in the very wild and beautiful Eastern Cape province of South Africa. A place, like no other (all of South Africa’s biomes, except Desert, occur in the region), where my love and admiration of plants and their amazing healing powers began.

Growing up, my parents often had somewhat heated discussions about the correct indigenous and botanical name for almost every tree or plant in our area. This, alongside the belief that if anything were the matter… a nice cup of tea would be the instant solution to the problem, had an undeniable influence on my life path.

Working as a natural health practitioner for the past 19 years and watching my husband, Lance, brew the most amazing tea combinations for as long as I can remember, got me thinking... and Chi Time Teas was born.
