We are happy to do any kind of event if you are needing a refreshment tent with a healthy difference.

We are known for our takeaway teas and also supply deliciously replenishing iced teas. I was so fortunate to be born into the very wild and beautiful eastern province of South Africa, where my parents would often have somewhat heated discussions about the ‘correct’ indigenous and latin names for almost every single plant or tree in the area. This is where my love and admiration of plants, and later their amazing healing powers began. Another extremely undeniable influence in my life was in fact growing up in a house where if anything were the matter… a nice cup of tea would be an instant solution. So the combination of the above influences, working as a natural health practitioner for the last 17 years and my husband brewing up the most amazing tea combinations for as long as I can remember…Chi Time Teas was born.

The origin of Chi Time Teas

I was so fortunate to be born in the very wild and beautiful Eastern Cape province of South Africa. A place, like no other (all of South Africa’s biomes, except Desert, occur in the region), where my love and admiration of plants and their amazing healing powers began.

Growing up, my parents often had somewhat heated discussions about the correct indigenous and botanical name for almost every tree or plant in our area. This, alongside the belief that if anything were the matter… a nice cup of tea would be the instant solution to the problem, had an undeniable influence on my life path.

Working as a natural health practitioner for the past 19 years and watching my husband, Lance, brew the most amazing tea combinations for as long as I can remember, got me thinking... and Chi Time Teas was born.
