🌤 Motivation Monday 🌤

💭 “Don’t believe everything you think. Thoughts are not facts.”

Sometimes our minds tell stories that aren’t true, stories about what we can’t do, who we’re not, or why we’ll fail.

Today, take a moment to challenge those thoughts.

✨ Replace self-doubt with curiosity.
✨ Replace fear with small, brave action.
✨ Remember: your thoughts are just visitors, you decide which ones get to stay. 💪

💻✨ Therapy Thursday Tip!

Did you know that poor workplace ergonomics can cause daily aches, fatigue, and even long-term injuries? 🪑😣

Occupational Therapists help by adjusting your workstation, teaching posture correction, and recommending ergonomic tools that keep you comfortable, focused, and pain-free. 🌿

It’s the small changes—like screen height, chair support, and regular movement—that make a big difference! 🙌

🌿 Wellness Wednesday Reminder 🌿

Take a moment today to pause, breathe, and realign.
Choosing yourself isn’t selfish — it’s how you sustain your energy, protect your peace, and show up fully for others. 💚

“Pause. Breathe. Realign. Wellness begins in the moments you choose yourself.”

Here are 5 affirmations to remind you of that choice:
✨ I am allowed to rest without feeling guilty.
✨ My needs are valid and deserve attention.
✨ I choose peace over pressure.
✨ I am becoming the healthiest version of myself—one choice at a time.
✨ I give myself permission to grow at my own pace.

🌿 Motivation Monday 🌿
When you can’t control what’s happening, challenge yourself to control how you respond. 💭
This week, try using the STOP method when faced with challenges:
✨ S – Stop: Pause before reacting.
✨ T – Take a breath: Ground yourself with a slow, deep breath.
✨ O – Observe: Notice what you’re feeling and thinking.
✨ P – Proceed: Respond mindfully, not impulsively.

Small moments of awareness can make a big difference in how we handle life’s ups and downs. 💚

🦾 THERAPY THURSDAY 🦾

Adults: Amputation Rehabilitation 🌿

Life after amputation brings both physical and emotional challenges, from learning to use a prosthetic limb to adapting daily routines like dressing, cooking, and driving. With the right support, independence and confidence can be rebuilt. 💛

💪 Teach functional retraining for daily tasks and safe movement.
🦾 Guide prosthetic training, stump care, desensitization, and wound management.
🏠 Recommend home adaptations like ramps, grab rails, and non-slip flooring.
🚗 Support community integration through wheelchair mobility, transport training, and social reinvolvement.
