Work Wednesday 🌟

Celebrating Workplace Achievements 🎉🤝

As we reach the end of the year, it is the perfect time to pause and celebrate the wins that carried us through.
Recognising achievements, big or small, inspires growth, strengthens connection, and reminds teams that their hard work truly matters.
When people feel seen and appreciated, motivation rises and workplaces thrive.
At OT's we are passionate about helping organizations build cultures where appreciation is intentional and every milestone is valued.

Here’s to closing off the year with gratitude, celebrating progress, and creating environments where everyone can shine 🌼✨

✨Therapy Tip Tuesday – Sensory Smart Holidays ✨

The holiday season can be exciting, busy and full of new experiences.

For many children, this can also mean extra sensory load. 😦
By supporting their bodies and senses with simple movement, quiet moments and calming activities, we help them enjoy the magic without becoming overwhelmed.

A little structure goes a long way in helping them feel grounded, confident and ready for holiday fun at their own pace. 🌟

Motivation Monday ✨

End of year reminder; it is courage that carries us forward, not perfection. 🌿

You do not need flawless days or perfectly executed plans to grow.
What truly matters are the brave moments where you choose to keep going, even when you feel tired, uncertain, or overwhelmed.

Celebrate the quiet wins, the days you showed up when it felt hard, and the strength you found in between life’s highs and lows.
💛 Every step, even the imperfect ones, has shaped your progress. Keep choosing courage, keep choosing yourself, and trust that you are moving in the right direction.

🌿💬 Therapy Thursday

A Traumatic Brain Injury can impact so many areas of life, thinking skills, physical abilities, self-care, social connections, and even participation in hobbies and community activities.

Everyday tasks like dressing, cooking, planning, or interacting with others may suddenly feel overwhelming.

Occupational Therapists play a crucial role in rebuilding independence after a TBI. Through cognitive rehabilitation, mobility support, self-care retraining, leisure participation, and social skills development, OTs help individuals regain confidence and return to meaningful daily routines.

Home and workplace modifications also make life safer, simpler, and more manageable during recovery.

Healing after a TBI is a gradual journey, but with the right support, people can learn, adapt, and rediscover purpose and participation in their lives. 🌟

💼📱 Work Wednesday

Technology makes work faster and more convenient, but it also blurs the line between work and home.

After-hours emails, constant notifications, and always being “online” can increase stress, reduce rest, and make it difficult to switch off.

Healthy tech habits are essential for better balance. Setting digital boundaries, using productivity tools during working hours, and scheduling tech-free time can help restore clarity and calm.

Occupational Therapists support both employees and organisations by developing practical routines, reducing digital overload, and promoting healthier communication expectations. With the right guidance, technology can improve efficiency without taking over our lives.

✨💛 Motivation Monday

“Mental health is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you’re going.” – Noam Shpancer

We often put pressure on ourselves to feel “perfect,” but true mental health is about growth, learning, and how we navigate each day.
Take a moment to journal your journey, reflect on the ways you’ve adapted, coped, and become stronger over time.

Progress is found in the small steps, the honest moments, and the gentle reminders that healing is a process, not a finish line. 🌿

✨Wellness Wednesday ✨

As we move into the final weeks of the year, many of us start to feel tired, overwhelmed or ready to switch off. This is your reminder that even the small steps you take now still move you forward.

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston Churchill

Keep showing up for yourself, stay steady and trust that your consistency will carry you through the last stretch.

You’ve got this. 💛💪✨

🌊✨Motivation Monday 🌊✨

Today’s reminder comes from Rumi, You are not a drop in the ocean, you are the entire ocean in a drop.

Even the smallest actions hold power and influence.
Reflect on how your words, choices and efforts shape the world around you.

You matter more than you realise and the impact you make is bigger than you think 💙

Happy home-iversiry day dearest Silver! 🐴

Three years ago, in the middle of the night, after a 13 hour trip in a horse box, you arrived at your new forever home!

We are so grateful for for allowing us to learn from you and love you!

You have taught so many people about patience, grace and mostly trust!

Love being greeted by your nickering nose every morning 😍

🎨✨ Fun Friday!

Today’s activity is simple, creative, and full of joy — DIY Painted Rocks!

Collect a few smooth rocks, grab some paints, and let your imagination run wild. Create animals, patterns, funny faces, or bright abstract designs.

There’s no right or wrong way to paint your masterpiece.

Rock painting is a wonderful way to boost creativity, develop fine-motor skills, and enjoy calming, hands-on fun. And once your rocks are ready, hide them around your neighbourhood or local park. You never know who will find them, and the smile it might bring! 🌈💛
