A closing poem/script for your next class
To the Woman on the Mat”
To the woman who stepped onto the mat today,
With a heart full of hope and a soul finding its way—
You are seen. You are whole. You are brave. You are light.
Even when weary, you rise, choosing grace over fight.
With every breath, you softened the weight you have worn,
With every stretch, you welcomed the dawn of reborn.
Your body whispered secrets your mind long forgot—
That strength is in yielding, not in battles hard-fought.
You held space for stillness, for patience, for peace,
For the joy in release and the beauty in ease.
You gathered the pieces the world pulled apart
And wove them with breath, with kindness, with heart.
So as you rise from your mat and return to the day,
Carry this quiet, this softness, this sway—
Know that within you a river runs deep,
Of wisdom and wonder, of dreams still asleep.
May you walk from this place not empty, but full—
Of the grace of surrender, the power of soul.
For you, gentle woman, are more than you see:
A vessel of courage, unbound and free.
Namaste
