Prostate Cancer Awareness Month! Gentlemen — your health matters.
Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers among men, and early detection plays a key role in better outcomes. Many men avoid screening due to fear or uncertainty, but recognising the importance of early assessment is an important step in safeguarding long-term health.
The MRI Process – What to Expect
Modern imaging plays a crucial role in detecting and assessing prostate cancer. At Bayradiology, we use Multiparametric Prostate MRI, a sophisticated, non-invasive technique that provides highly detailed images of the prostate and surrounding tissue.
During the scan:
• You’ll lie comfortably on the MRI table — the procedure is completely painless.
• The scan takes approximately 30–45 minutes and involves no radiation exposure.
• Throughout the entire process, our radiographers are close by, monitoring and communicating with you to ensure your comfort and safety.
• Once complete, you can resume your normal activities immediately.
This advanced imaging technology enables radiologists to detect even small or early abnormalities, often reducing the need for unnecessary biopsies and helping to guide precise, effective treatment plans.
Prostate cancer awareness isn’t just about statistics — it’s about men, their families, and their futures. The earlier it’s found, the more treatment options are available, often with less invasive
outcomes.
At Bayradiology, we are committed to men’s health through advanced imaging, early detection, and expert care — because every life deserves clarity, confidence, and compassion.
