"Nothing but brilliant service from these guys! I bought a dud, and they upgraded and rebuilt it for me with top-class workmanship. Every nut and bolt was replaced, along with all gaskets supplied. They even ported and polished the surfaces for me out of their own initiative. I later experienced some issues that I suspected were turbo-related. They were more than happy to strip it down at no cost, proving it wasn’t the turbo at fault. For extra peace of mind, they also threw in a new rebuild kit free of charge and gave me plenty of helpful tips and advice. In short, choose an 11-blade for fast response and smooth drivability, and choose a 6+6 for maximum power and top-end performance.

An 11-blade compressor wheel features more blade surface area, allowing it to fill the compressor housing quickly for faster spool, earlier boost, and smooth low-RPM drivability, making it ideal for daily-driven and street builds. The trade-off is that it tends to peak earlier at higher boost levels, produces slightly less maximum horsepower, and can be more prone to surge when pushed hard, though pairing it with a larger turbine wheel can help offset this.
