Victory Kids was established in 2005 and is an Early Intervention Centre for children with special social & educational needs including: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Hearing Impairment and General Developmental Delays. The Centre provides an intensive programme to prepare young children for entering a mainstream educational environment as well as provide intervention for children entering into a special educational environment. This kind of intervention is very effective, as the children work in small class groups as well as receive intensive one-on-one training. The Centre aims to offer not only the best early intervention programme available to children with special social & educational needs, but also to support their families as they deal with a child with developmental & educational differences; their hopes and fears associated with the specific diagnosis as well as its impact on the family unit and marriage. We believe that all children should have the opportunity to enjoy their learning experience and achieve success in a friendly, loving and caring environment. We serve families and providers who care for children ages 2 – 7 years of age with special social and educational needs. We offer families a Centre-based program that meets the needs of each child engaging them in an optimal learning environment. We strive to increase communication and social skills while reducing problem behaviours, which may arise as a result of an inability to function appropriately in their skills. Our classes are small with a maximum teacher / child ratio 1:10 and individual therapy session is
one tutor / child ratio 1:1. PROGRAMMES AVAILABLE

We are so excited to invite you all to our upcoming Autism Walk! It’s going to be an incredible day out for the whole family, and we have some amazing treats and activities lined up for you.

Stimming is self regulation 🌈🤗

Let's talk about stimming.

The autistic community advocates that stimming behavior is a self-regulatory coping mechanism, and efforts to control this behavior could have negative effects for autistic people. Research exploring stimming from the autistic perspective supports this position and suggests these behaviors are actually incredibly beneficial.

There is a long history in both research and clinical practice, of efforts to reduce, minimize or eliminate stimming behavior in autistic people.
