With Spring🌷🌻 around the corner, so to is our Bring a Friend Week! 👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏾👬👨🏿‍🤝‍👨🏼👩🏻‍🤝‍👨🏾We invite friends, family members and work colleagues to experience CrossFit as an exciting, full body workout, tailored in class to your current level of fitness. 🏃‍♂️🤸‍♂️💪Showing up to your first class is all that is needed for you to see that CrossFit can be the workout method, facility and social circle that you have been missing out on! From 1 to 6 September, attend as many classes as you want, and see if this is for you.

🕘⏳️🕰Class times are 5h30, 8h30, 12h00, 17h10 and 18h20.

Newcomers are warmly welcomed by the coach 🦸on duty and mutually introduced to all members attending the class. The Workout of the Day is on the board, 🔡✍️with all the scaling options, or level of ease. Coach will discuss this with the individual class members.

Warmups will then be done by instruction, with all participants doing the same. After this, select your level, your movements and your weights, and then stand ready as the countdown begins. The workout is normally between 12 and 24 minutes, with exceptions. Sometimes a short workout will be done before the main one. The daily variety keeps the workouts interesting, and challenging. Once the clock signals the end of the workout, everyone can catch their breath, coach will congratulate and fistbump everyone 🤛,members each other, and then share which parts were more and less challenging. Jokes are cracked, some head to the showers🚿while others drink coffee ☕️

Total time is about 45 mins from start to finish.

Every rep is a win! Lifting overhead is a powerful feeling, and is a full body exercise, building strength and balance. Whether it's shoulder to overhead with push press, split jerk or power snatching, each rep conditions your body to co-ordinate, for the goal of standing victorious with the weight locked in overhead.

Each step is coached when the movement is in the day's workout. From beginners to RX athletes, techniques are improved and weights marginally increase over time according to individual ability. Your progress can be measured, and the results over time is an increase in calorie expenditure, and enhanced muscle definition.

Learning to lift is a core skill taught by our coaches daily. From using hook grip to feet stances for deadlifts and other Oympic standard lifting techniques, we start new members with a light plastic pipe to ensure good technique, and progress from there. Whether you lift 2kg or 200kg, coaches will help you choose a weight according to your ability.

Get moving on your health and wellness goals! Who doesn't want more lean muscle and less body fat? Our holistic approach to training means each class is a full body workout. Our coaches guide each indivdual to do the movements at a level they are capable of. New workouts are set daily, keeping it interesting. There is never a dull moment, with our witty coaches and members exchanging jokes before the workout starts. Coaching continues during the workout, ensuring good form. Mutual congratulations and fistbumps are in order after the workout. You won't know what your missing until you experience it!

A new week deserves a good start when it comes to your health and energy levels! Warming up before each class is an important part of being ready for the workout of the day. The coach on duty will always guide the participants to stretch and prepare for the movements to follow.

A warm welcome and a hot cup of coffee, along with a programmed workout, may be just the thing you need!
