🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL GQ E-HAILING DRIVERS 🚨

Friday, 14 November 2025, all e-hailing drivers in Gqeberha (GQ) will be off the apps from 5AM to 8PM in solidarity for fair treatment, safety, and better working conditions.

We will meet at Kings Beach at 7AM, and at 9AM, the motorcade will depart for City Hall, where we will hand over the memorandum of demands to the Municipal Mayor or MMC.

There’s a lamppost at 41 King Edward Street, Newton Park, that’s loose and could fall over at any time — please be careful if you’re in the area.

A tree has fallen across Villiers Road and 11th Avenue, completely blocking the road and affecting Walmer residents as well.
