In 1979 the Tina Schöltz Day Spa came into being. The journey started with humble beginnings at the Le Riche Beauty Salon and Training Centre in Church Street.

We offer a broad range of beauty and relaxation treatments including hair removal, body treatments, massaging, hand and foot treatments, skincare and professional make-up. Two years later she realised her dream of starting a Health & Skincare Academy when she trained her first student. The business grew and expanded as the years went by and in 1999 she bought the old Jewish Synagogue in James Moroka Avenue. The Academy main campus, as it is now known, houses the old Jewish Synagogue (used for lectures and administration), Interior Design Department, Photography Department, Cantina (a cafeteria open to the public), Hairdressing Department, Hairtrends (professional hair salon), Somatology practical classrooms, a short course facility and state-of-the-art Wellness Centre. The last step of this journey is the incorporation of the Tina Scholtz Day Spa into the Wellness Centre. From the 1st of September all our Departments and Businesses will operate from the Potchefstroom Academy Campus located at 55-59 James Moroka Avenue. It is centrally located, offers ample free, safe and convenient parking with a security guard, easy intercom access as well as the following: nail bar, flotation tank, Vichy showers, 8 large private treatment rooms, spa bath, double treatment rooms and steam cubicle. All the staff and services you have been accustomed to for the past 40 years, will now be available at the Wellness Centre. We trust that you will be as excited as we are.
