Protect Your Little One from Diphtheria 🛡️

Diphtheria may sound like a disease from the past — but without vaccination, it can still pose a serious threat to children.

👶 What is Diphtheria?

A bacterial infection caused by Corynebacterium diphtheriae, it can lead to a thick whitish coating at the back of the throat, making breathing difficult.

During pregnancy, your baby depends on your immune system for protection. By getting certain vaccines, you pass life-saving antibodies to your little one before they’re even born, helping shield them during their most vulnerable early months.

🌟 1. RSV Vaccine

Protects Against: Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). A leading cause of severe respiratory infections in infants.

Why It’s Important: Helps reduce the risk of hospitalisation from RSV-related complications.

When To Get It: Between 28 weeks pregnant and 2 weeks before birth (cannot be done with Whooping Cough (Tdap) Vaccine - There must be a 2-week gap between Vaccines).
