Re-inventing myself started a few years ago (10, to be exact) when my life was in shambles. I was recently divorced, lost my home, and my business wasn't doing well. I was in survival mode, as my three children were all still underaged and needed a place to stay and food on the table. It was hard, but at the same time I realized that I had to focus only on what direction I wanted my life to go - not get stuck in the terror of the moment! Fast forward to where I am today: children all grown up and living their lives. I have learnt a lot from the past ten years. After years in the fitness industry, I have finally found my passion! Helping older women find their true spirit has become my inspiration - I find so much joy in sharing my knowledge and what I've learnt! Being fit and strong is not just about being fit and strong. It is about the discipline. The freedom. Understanding that you are capable of far more than you ever imagined. We are never too old and it is never too late to start living our best lives.

One of the biggest misconceptions about growing older is this:

⭐ “Your body can’t regenerate or improve after 50.”

This is 100% false — and one of the most damaging beliefs women carry into midlife.

Here’s the truth in simple, practical terms:



✅ 1. Your body never stops regenerating — it just regenerates differently

Cells are constantly repairing, rebuilding, and replacing themselves at every age.
What changes is the speed and what you give your body to work with (movement, protein, rest, hormones, stress levels).

Women over 50 absolutely build muscle, increase bone density, improve mobility, and boost energy — sometimes faster than they did in their 20s because they’re more consistent and intentional.

Lindie’s Pumpkin Soup
This has always been a BIG hit with my family - even my children. If you don’t like pumpkin soup, then this one is definitely worth a try. Healthy too!
500g pumpkin
2 carrots, diced
1 onion, chopped
5cm of fresh ginger, chopped
1 tsp turmeric
1 heaped tsp/cube beef stock
1/2 fresh 🌶️ if you like a bit of heat (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp full cream yoghurt or cream, if you dare.

Fry the 🧅 in a bit of oil. Add the 🌶️ , 🫚 and chopped 🥕 and fry on medium heat for another minute . Add the pumpkin, 600ml boiling water and the stock. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until pumpkin is soft - 15 to 20 minutes. Add the turmeric , salt and pepper and the yoghurt. Serve warm.
