Meet Lisa Matlala 🌿

Lisa is one of our incredible therapists at Rooted, specialising in therapy and socio-emotional assessments. With her gentle nature and heart for children, she brings exceptional compassion, safety, and connection into every session. Her gift lies in making every child feel seen, heard, and valued.

At Rooted, we are passionate about making a difference in communities. 💚Lisa is based full-time at our Rooted satellite office in Danville, where she provides free therapeutic services to children and families who would otherwise not have access to support.

Through her work, we continue to strengthen early intervention and prevention services in vulnerable communities—because every child deserves a chance to heal and thrive. 🌳

Meet Dr Bernie Dalgety 🌱

Bernie has almost 40 years of experience in working with children and families and holds a PhD qualification in the field. She is actively involved in conducting socio-emotional assessments, interactional analysis between children and caregivers, therapeutic work with children and families, and providing professional consultations to other professionals in the field. 🌳

Bernie is also located at our Rooted satellite office in Benoni 📍so thanks to her we can extend our reach and care much wider than just Pretoria.
