Our bodies are amazing! Parents play a vital role in how children see themselves. If a parent demonstrate healthy attitudes toward their own bodies, and engage in positive healthy behaviours (i.e. healthy eating, regular exercise, limiting screen time etc), children are more likely to adopt similar attitudes and behaviours.

We as parents are responsible for the provision of healthy foods, at regular intervals and in a calm, stress free environment. Our children will decide if and how much to eat. Remember to respect your young child's hunger and satiety cues!

Research indicates that the mean onset of feeding difficulties is 8 months but the mean age to get help is only at 24 months.
