1️⃣ The uterus is normally about the size of a pear, but expands up to 500x bigger during pregnancy.
2️⃣ It is one of the strongest muscles in the human body.
3️⃣ The uterus creates a special lining every month to prepare for possible pregnancy.
4️⃣ During labor, uterine contractions help push the baby into the world.
5️⃣ After birth, the uterus slowly shrinks back to its original size — called involution.
