What is low vision❓
Low vision is a condition where your eyesight is permanently reduced and cannot be fully corrected with regular glasses, contact lenses, or surgery. It affects everyday activities and requires special support to manage.👁️

You may have low vision if you experience:
- Patches of missing vision
- Blurred or foggy vision😶‍🌫️
- Tunnel vision (only central vision or only side vision)👀
- Difficulty with glare🌞
- Problems seeing contrast

🫣Putting contact lenses in and taking them out is easier than you might think! It may take a few days for your eyes to adjust to the feeling of contact lenses, but that is completely normal.

😉At Van Den Heever-Roetz Optometrist we make sure that you are as comfortable as can be with your first and last pair of contact lenses.

We do an extensive contact lens evaluation, thereafter when we receive your trail lenses, you will receive a full training on not only, how to put your lenses in and take them out, but also on the cleaning, disinfecting and storing of your lenses.

We will discuss your wearing schedule and when it is time for your follow up appointment.

🫣Om kontaklense in te sit en uit te haal, is makliker as wat jy d**k! Dit mag dalk 'n paar dae neem vir jou oë om aan die gevoel van kontaklense gewoond te raak, maar dit is heeltemal normaal.

😉By Van Den Heever-Roetz Oogkundige maak ons ​​seker dat jy so gemaklik as moontlik is met jou eerste en laaste paar kontaklense.
