Nadia is a qualified Somatologist, well experienced working with a variety of medical skincare brands as well as energy based devices. She’s bubbly, kind and caring and she’s here to help your, our precious patients, achieve the skin of your dreams.

3 subtle signs that your skincare is starting to work

1. Your skin doesn’t pull after cleansing and it feels less oily during the day:
- It’s all about skin barrier repair and water-oil balance. Once skin can keep water inside (less water loss into the atmosphere), sebum glands won’t need to produce excessive oil to compensate for dryness.

2. Your skin looks less dull or ashy and flakiness is improving:
- A thinner layer of old, dead skin cells on the surface combined with better hydration results in skin reflecting more light and texture looking and feeling smoother.

3. Your skin looks less red and feels less sensitive:
- Chronic inflammation is what drives most skin concerns such as acne, pigmentation and ageing. Calming “angry” skin is always the goal before addressing any of these skin conditions. Calm skin is healthier skin.

💗After introducing medical grade skincare, you need to be patient. Getting your skin to a place where the barrier is repaired, inflammation has subsided and hydration is improved is key. Improvement is usually gradual and getting there may take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months. Only then can we address your major concerns safely and effectively.
