We provide a variety of speech & language therapy services both in our Private Practice and at Schools in the Pretoria East Area

🩵 Early Communication Intervention

Speech and language intervention for children between 0 & 6 years. These children are either not talking yet or have a delay in spoken language or language understanding. This can be due to prematurity, middle ear infections, disorders or because they are late talkers. It also includes Auditory Habilitation for children with hearing loss

💙 Language Delays & Disorders

Delays in the development of spoken language, understanding or language learning. This includes Auditory Processing difficulties and Disorders.

🩵 Articulation & Phonological Processes

Difficulty producing speech sounds or if the child uses patterns past the typical age of acquisition or elimination

💙 Reading & Spelling

For children who have difficulty with reading and spelling.

🩵 Comprehensive Assessments

We provide comprehensive speech and language assessments where we look at all the areas above.

For children under the age of 4, we use a play-based approach with informal questionnaires and checklists.

For children above 4, we make use of a variety of comprehensive language assessment tools.

I'm Cayla! A Speech and Language Therapist, practice owner and resource creator📚

I specialise in early communication intervention and school based speech and language therapy🪀🧸

Most of my therapy sessions are play based or have some form of game/ activity as I believe kiddos learn best through play! Plus it's way more entertaining for me😂
