We are looking for an Registered Nurse with at least 3 years practical experience to assess patients at home and identify risk factors/warning signs in their clinical presentation.
You will be the first contact person to see the patient at home and need to ensure that you always present yourself professionally.
You will work with a variety of patients, and you will provide direct
nursing care along with physical or psychological support when required.
Responsibilities
 Identify patients’ care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them.
ï‚· Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support if needed.
 Resolve or report on patients’ needs or problems.
ï‚· Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse,
blood pressure and temperature, provide drugs and injections etc)
 Monitor and record patient’s condition and document provided care services.
ï‚· Treat medical emergencies
ï‚· Administer workloads.
ï‚· Follow regulations and standards as requires by Acute-Nursing
ï‚· Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team.
ï‚· Plan daily route efficiently to ensure productivity.
 Follow through with the onboarding process and confirm monitoring of the patient by placing vitals patch on patient’s chest.
ï‚· Inform the Dr. On call regarding any clinical concerns.
Requirements and skills
 Must be registered with SANC.
 Have an up-to-date BLS (Basic Life Support) certificate.
 Have a valid Driver’s License.
 Be able to drive in and around Gauteng to see patients, with company vehicle.
 Must be computer Literate. You will be required to type your assessment and findings on an electronic platform.
 A minimum of 3-4 patients will be allocated for the onboarding process daily.
 Proven nursing experience.
 Be familiar with medical terminology.
 Provide health education and advise where the need arises.
 Report to Professional Nurse.
 Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
 Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.
 Compassionate with good communication skills
 Excellent teamwork skills
