INCIDENT REPORT:
Wednesday night Echo-1 responded to a robbery and shooting at a client's premises. The worker was shot twice and the first responders quickly applied first aid and stabilized the victim.
The rest of the team searched for the suspects in the surrounding area. Not long after, we got a call of rocks being thrown on the highway very close to our position.
Luckily the victim managed to get away but sustained damage to his vehicle.
The response officers mobilised towards that position and launched the drone.
The drone operator saw 3 suspects running away from the highway where the incident took place. After a hectic foot pursuit the armed suspects decided to engage the Echo-1 officers.
1 suspect was shot and another arrested.

For a few months, now there have been constant burglaries in the Cullinan and Rayton area where quad bikes, motorbikes and solar systems have been targeted. It got real when one of our supporting crime fighting groups also lost a quad bike ....
Analysis were done to determine routes, trends and timelines....

Sunday morning Echo-1 Tactical and the local CRU crime prevention unit executed a takedown where a local farm was targeted for its solar system again ...
It was quickly established that these were the guys we were looking for .... lots of information was retrieved linking them to numerous cases in the area.
Now it is time for SAPS to show up and build a credible docket 💪

On Tuesday night, Echo-1 Security was informed about 2 failed hijackings committed in the Cullinan area. Unfortunately 1 victim was shot but survived the attempt. The information on hand was analyzed and a possible vehicle involved was identified.
Echo-1 Tracing Team followed up more leads, and on Wednesday evening the vehicle with one suspect was stopped.
Evidence on scene and witness statements confirmed his involvement.
We trust the detectives investigating these cases will trace the rest of the gang and the fi****ms used ...🐍🐍⚖️

Destruction of essential infrastructure is rampant in South Africa. In the rural communities especially the rail network is targeted due to its remote nature. Echo-1 decided to get involved and use our resources to identify the criminal role players.

Early morning after damaging the railway network again in the Donkerhoek and Welbekend area, the gang was taken down.

USUAL SUSPECTS !
Yesterday, Echo-1 management received a phone call from 4Warn in Benoni regarding a vehicle that was stolen at one of their sites.
Having dealt with this situation before, the criminals involved and the route they were planning to take was already known to Echo-1 Security.
5 minutes later and the stolen vehicle was stopped and 1 suspect in custody !
Not long after, the rest of the gang passed the crime scene, and we were 4 from 4 !

1 stolen vehicle recovered
1 vehicle used in commission of crime impounded

During August 2025, a bluelight robbery occurred near Bronkhorstspruit. Echo-1 Security analysed the information available and established a possible suspect vehicle.
Yesterday a vehicle matching the description entered our area again and observation was done.
The suspects were tracked and a takedown was executed with assistance of Delmas SAPS inside the local taxi rank.

CONCLUSION:
2 x suspects in custody
1x firearm without serial number and live rounds
Additional number plates hidden in the boot
Suspected stolen cell phones and jewelry recovered

TEAMWORK 👊

Due to the rampant cable theft around Rietvlei Conservancy, Echo-1 and Bull Security planned an operation based on intelligence gathered.
It was established that there are specific gangs targeting certain areas. Tuesday night, observation was done while a team was digging next to the boundary fence.
As soon as it was operationally possible, the gang was hit. Although some escaped, 4 suspects were apprehended, and all the cables and tools recovered.
this is an ongoing investigation. ⚖️🐍

in August, several fuel stations around Cullinan area reported receiving counterfeit money for transactions ..
One of those was an Echo-1 client... investigations were done to determine whom the suspects are.
On Friday morning Echo-1 and Bull Tactical executed an operation in Pretoria East. The vehicle involved was stopped and the investigating officer informed.
The suspect was positively identified and upon searching the vehicle, another R4000 of counterfeit money was confiscated.

COMMUNITY COLLABORATION:
The railway lines around Pretoria, especially around Donkerhoek , have been targeted for copper for a long time.
Thursday night, Echo-1 Security, Boschkop detectives and the DKR Community ran an operation to find the suspects.
It wasn't long before 2 vehicles that were previously identified started moving around the plots near the rail tracks.
The teams were activated and both cars were stopped.

OUTCOME:
4 SUSPECTS ARRESTED AND 1 VEHICLE CONFISCATED
THE TOOLS USED TO COMMIT CABLE THEFT CONFISCATED
