🚨 Incident Report 🚨

On Tuesday, 28 January, at around 15h50, PVES members responded to a call for a very ill patient. Whilst responding to the scene, PVES members were on the phone with a family member on the scene.

It was quickly determined that the patient needed resuscitation. A family member on the scene was guided over the phone on how to initiate CPR.

On arrival, PVES members continued with resuscitation, but unfortunately, their efforts were terminated and the patient was declared deceased on scene.

It could be a life-saving skill to learn how to recognize when someone needs CPR and how to effectively administer resuscitation.
