Yesterday we asked: Before or after breakfast? 🤔 And the results are in! (Sort of.) Turns out, there's no one-size-fits-all answer. Both before and after brushing have their benefits! Brushing before can help remove plaque that accumulated overnight, while brushing after helps get rid of those pesky food particles. The most important thing? Brush consistently and thoroughly! And don't forget to floss! 🧵

Now, let's talk about another common pain point: Back pain! 😫 At Brussow Holistic Health Solutions (BHHS) in Pretoria, we understand the struggle. That's why we're sharing some simple stretches to help you find relief:

Here are two simple stretches that can help relieve back pain:

1. Knee-to-chest stretch

Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
Using both hands, pull up one knee and press it toward your chest.
Tighten the muscles in your belly and press your spine to the floor.
Hold for five seconds.
Return to the starting position and repeat with the other leg.
Repeat each stretch 2 to 3 times.
2. Lower back rotational stretch

Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
Keep your shoulders firmly on the floor, and slowly roll your bent knees to one side.
Hold for 5 to 10 seconds.
Slowly go back to the starting position.
Repeat on the other side.
Repeat each stretch 2 to 3 times.
Additional tips:

Do these stretches slowly and gently.
Stop if you feel any pain.
You can do these stretches once or twice a day.
It is important to consult with a chiropractor if you are experiencing difficulties and pain during these stretches.
