Good morning iron warriors! I am the New admin for Supplements Direct Cresta and I feel that it would be beneficial to you, the reader, if I compiled various supplement reviews based purely on my own experience. So... The first supplement under review will be Muscletech Hydroxystim.

Active Ingredients: Geranium Extract ( as Geranium Roberianum) (Aerial Parts) 177mg
Caffeine Anhydrous 100mg
Deanol Bitartrate ( Supplying DMAE) 17mg
Huperzine Extract ( As Huperzia Serrata) (Aerial Parts) 13mcg.
SUPPLEMENT CLAIMS:
Muscletech claims that Hydroxystim is a hybrid between a thermogenic (weight loss) supplement and a energy supplement. Essentially a pre-workout capsule with fat burning properties.
Ok let's get to the juicy stuff! :)
PRICE: R 499 at Supplements Direct Cresta.
EFFECTIVENESS AND SERVING SIZE: 8/10: Hydroxystim is extremely effective if 3 capsules are taken on an empty stomach 30 minutes before training. I usually train at 08:00 and the energy from Hydroxystim lasts me, on average, about 10-12 hours. I have never experienced such a sustained feeling of crisp, clear, jitter-free energy. Hydroxystim would have scored higher in terms of effectiveness if each capsule contained the same amount of active ingredients as 3 capsules so that 1 capsule would be as strong as 3 capsules, therefore this would equate to 110 true servings, as opposed to 35-36 servings if 3 capsules are used daily.
TASTE: 10/10: There is no taste as these are size 0 capsules and are incredibly easy to swallow.
SIDE EFFECTS 2/10: The only real side effect is that it may disrupt your sleep due to the sustained release of the capsules and partly due to the Geranium Extract found within the active ingredients. Other than that, it is a pleasure to take.
OVERALL SCORE: 9/10: Hydroxystim has scored extremely high in regards to this review and this is why. Hydroxystim does not contain the amino acid Beta-Alanine which is responsible for the ''tingles'' that many individuals experience around their lips,face and fingers. As this side effect diminishes with regular use of a Beta-Alanine containing product, it tends to make people weary of the product. The thermogenic effect is moderate but noticeable which is a handy trait to have in any supplement used in a cutting/fat-loss stack. One of the best attributes of Hydroxystim is the Geranium Extract contained within the active ingredients. Geranium Extract induces clarity of the mind and enables everything around you to appear sharper and richer in colour, much like viewing the world in True HD. What an awesome product and is no doubt worth the price you pay for it.
