You are going to crush it 💪👇⁣

This week, I want you to include a new mantra: ⁣

✅ Progress, not perfection ⁣

Perfection doesn’t exist... But PROGRESS sure does! ⁣

“Crushing it” doesn’t mean you need to be perfect. To me, it means doing your best to stay consistent and make progress in the things you are doing! ⁣

And with this, it’s also making sure you give yourself grace in the process... ⁣

Grace allows your journey so much more enjoyable 💕⁣

So remember this week... PROGRESS, not perfection! ⁣

Is change part of our growth?

Change often brings challenges, and it is through those challenges that we discover ourselves, find inner growth and are able to achieve the life of our dreams.

Change is often unpleasant. It brings us out of our comfort zone and makes us go through situations we often try to avoid. But discomfort also makes us realise our inner strength and ability to adapt. Once we discover our internal strength, nothing seems hard, and we are able to chase every possible dream.

If you want to achieve, progress or be successful in life, be prepared to go through change. No matter how unpleasant it may seem, sometimes we go through discomfort to gather strength and resilience before seeing a better life.

🌿✨ Just got back from an amazing family holiday, and I can’t help but share how essential oils made our trip so much better! I’m beyond grateful for these natural solutions that come with no side effects. Here’s what we used:

1. **Zengest**: 2 drops under the tongue for my little one who usually struggles with car sickness—he felt great the whole trip!

2. **Lavender**: Perfect for calming sunburn and soothing our skin after a day in the sun.

3. **Skin Roller**: A blend of lavender, tea tree, and frankincense worked wonders on cuts and scrapes.

4. **Breathe**: Helped open my son’s airways and kept the snoring at bay at night! 😄

5. **Onguard**: Our go-to protective blend against germs, especially when using public bathrooms.

6. **Adaptive**: Diffused in the car to keep us all calm and peaceful during our long drives.

7. **Peppermint**: Rolled behind my hubby’s neck and on his temples to keep him focused and awake on our road trip.

8.**Correct X- for Anything skin related. I use it on my ear lobes before putting in my earrings . Used it for bites, pimples. I have one in every bag!

9.**Deep blue Rub- We use it for any muscular pain and now espresso for the kids growing pains . It’s definitely one of my family favs! 👌

These oils truly made our holiday smoother and more enjoyable! 🌈💧 What are your favorite essential oils for travel?

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

Life does not always change because circumstances magically improve. Most of the time, life changes because your perspective does. The same situation can feel like a burden or a blessing depending on the mindset you bring to it. The same challenge can feel like a punishment or a lesson depending on how willing you are to grow from it.

Many people wait for the outside world to shift before they allow themselves to feel peace, gratitude, or hope. But the truth is that waiting keeps you stuck. When you adjust how you see people, problems, and even yourself, you begin to notice opportunities where you once saw obstacles. You notice growth where you once saw failure. You notice progress where you once saw delay.

A closed mind turns small problems into massive walls. An open mind turns those same problems into stepping stones. When you look at setbacks as proof that you are not good enough, they drain your energy. When you look at them as feedback, they sharpen your wisdom. Nothing changes on the outside, yet everything feels different on the inside.

This is especially true in relationships. When you look at people only through the lens of what they lack, disappointment becomes constant. When you look at them with understanding and realistic expectations, peace becomes possible. Changing your perspective does not mean ignoring reality. It means choosing a healthier way to interpret it.

The same applies to yourself. If you constantly look at your life through regret, comparison, and self criticism, you will always feel behind. But when you start looking at your journey through patience, effort, and self respect, you realize how far you have already come. The mirror does not change, but the reflection you focus on does.

Your mind is powerful. It can turn a rainy day into a miserable experience or a quiet moment of reflection. It can turn waiting into frustration or preparation. It can turn solitude into loneliness or strength. The world responds differently when you respond differently.

Change your lens, and you change your experience. Not because the world suddenly becomes perfect, but because you finally see it clearly.

Feeling of overwhelm- Emotional Eating

One of the most common reasons clients tell me they eat emotionally, is the feeling of overwhelm.
We all have those times when life feels too much, and our first instinct is to avoid whatever’s stressing us out by having a snack. Most of us have to deal with overwhelming tasks like:
Stressful emails
Dealing with money matters
Preparing meals or doing the shopping
Cleaning, organising, or running errands
Tough conversations
Social events and obligations
Fear of failure
Sound familiar? It’s totally normal, though we often beat ourselves up for putting things off or avoiding them. What’s really happening is we’re feeling overwhelmed, and our natural reaction is to escape that feeling.

Here’s something you can try next time this happens: let yourself feel the overwhelm, but give yourself permission to step away – just briefly. For instance, if a task is stressing you out, stop for a moment...
Take a breath. Acknowledge the overwhelm. If you can, show yourself some kindness in that moment – it’s okay to feel this way. Then ask yourself, “Can I tackle this task for just one minute?” Or The 10 minute impulse control rule.
This approach lets you take a small step back when you need it but encourages you to face the task in manageable bites.
Practicing this helps with not turning to food every time you want to avoid a task. With each small step forward, you start leaning into life’s challenges instead of avoiding them. Over time, these small shifts can lead to big, meaningful changes.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend 🌻💛
