Vier ’n dekade van , en ongelooflike boerderystories saam met ons.

Hierdie week op Nisboere is Azelia Morkel (VIA se kanaalhoof) ons ateljeegas. Ons reis na waar ons by Vanderfax-blommeplaas kuier en sien hoe volhoubare landbou en agri-toerisme hand aan hand gaan.🪻Ons maak ook ’n draai by die Redberry Farm vir ’n heerlike pluk-en-proe aarbei-ervaring.🍓 Verder kuier ons saam met Antoinette Pienaar, wat haar unieke kennis en passie vir kruie en die natuur deel. 🌿

Inligtingsdag in Tarlton – Bou jou oes met die regte kennis 🌱

Elim Fertiliser, Syngenta en AST het waardevolle insigte gedeel tydens die inligtingsdag aangebied deur Carl van Heerden (LAC Tarlton).

Die belangrikheid van saadbehandeling op sojabone is beklemtoon, insluitend produkte soos Apron Plus Beans en die nuwe ATUVA en ATUVA BOLD-entstofpakke. Daar is ook gefokus op die korrekte instelling van planters om optimale stand en spasiëring te verseker, ’n sleutelfaktor vir beter opbrengste. Verder is praktiese ervaring en resultate uit langtermynproewe in Delmas gedeel, saam met insigte oor sojaboonkultivars.

Die dag is afgesluit met ’n heerlike Espetada-braai demonstrasie deur Portugese boere van die kontrei.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 🍅🚵

Congratulations to the 𝗭𝗭𝟮 𝗟𝗮𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺, Bertie van Zyl and Janco du Toit, who over the past week successfully completed the 2026 Absa Cape Epic.

Covering 707 kilometres with 15 900 metres of climbing across the Western Cape, the route stretched from Meerendal Wine Estate to Montagu, through Greyton, and into Stellenbosch for the .

An eight-day journey, built on months of preparation, that shapes every rider in its own way. A true test of endurance, resilience and determination that stays with you long after the finish line.

A special for Bertie van Zyl, completing his 10th .
