Position: IT Technician - PRETORIA EAST
Well establish company in Pretoria East is currently seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team, to contribute to the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to end-users, responding to inquiries and troubleshooting issues in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Set up and manage user accounts and permissions.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates and backups.
Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving any issues or vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT solutions and strategies.
Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for reference and training purposes.
Assist in the planning and ex*****on of IT projects, such as system migrations or upgrades.
Provide training and support to users on IT systems and applications as needed.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Proven experience working in an IT support role, preferably in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking protocols, and software applications.
Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions.
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and other enterprise-level IT systems.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with users of varying technical abilities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
