The Sacred Return
What if healing was not about becoming better,
but remembering who you were
before the forgetting?
What if the symptoms are not your failure,
but your body’s quiet wisdom whispering —
“This is not aligning with me”?
Our inner knowing challenges the paradigm
that treats symptoms as problems to suppress,
instead of messages from the body.
Not dysfunction,
but a deeper intelligence —
ignored by the mechanistic medicine
that fears what it cannot control.
We adorned the veil of forgetfulness,
drank their potion laced with
neon screens and hollow highs,
synthetic success hijacking our attention and our nervous systems —
keeping us sedated, reactive,
and looped in curated unreality.
Dopamine drip-fed through scrolling,
digital dust — the devil’s dandruff.
Booze dressed as bonding,
productivity paraded as purpose.
You were not born to perform your worth.
You were born to remember it.
The unbecoming —
of the lies, the labels,
the stories we were sold and told to wear —
like truth.
What if those stories are the invisible programming —
systems designed to keep us compliant,
distracted,
and disconnected from our sovereignty?
Our remembering exposes the myth
that our value is tied to output and constant doing —
a capitalist conditioning
that equates rest with laziness
and productivity with worth,
where disconnection and fragmentation from our souls
are normalised, medicated, and often celebrated —
making spiritual and emotional anaesthesia feel safe.
All the ways we numb the ache
of what we never truly consented to.
The amnesia became our morphine.
Soft, sweet, numbing.
Disconnecting us from our light —
the light beyond the limitations of this reality.
But somewhere beneath the forgetting,
beneath all of this,
something remembers —
there’s a self, a knowing,
untouched by conditioning.
This is the sacred return —
to the voice beneath the noise,
to the pulse before the program,
to the unbroken self.
Still.
Steady.
Untainted.
